We offer a book-buy back service to help customers get great deals on used books. You can bring in your old books and trade them in for newer titles or for cash.

Selling Books
We have a selective book buying process available Tuesday-Saturday from 11 am - 5 pm. Our book buyer leaves right at 5 pm, so please make sure to bring your books in by 4:30. The process itself is pretty simple: you bring in your books and we offer a choice of cash or store credit, based on the books we take. Whichever books we do not take go back with you. Sometimes we take no books, sometimes we take them all- usually it's somewhere between.
If you are looking for store credit, it usually works out to be a three to one swap for similar-valued books. If you are looking for cash, we pay roughly 20-25% of what we would sell the book for in-store. Sometimes we will pay more for a book that is more expensive or collectible in some way. What books do we take?
That is a hard question to answer because it usually comes down to whether or not we think an individual book will sell. We can't say fiction is good to bring in because some authors sell and some don't. We are always looking for current and semi-current hot titles, and we are always looking for popular kids and young adult titles in good condition.
However, there are some books we just do not take, which include:
textbooks, computer books, encyclopedia sets, Reader's Digest, magazines/periodicals, hardback popular fiction/mystery (unless it's a current title), single-issue comic books.
We are also very selective of incoming self-help/psychology, business, and history.
Often times it is best to bring your books in for a book buyer to evaluate. If you have any questions at all about the books you have, please email us.
